yer Turku for One of the World's Most Complex Cruise Retail Logistics Operations
Our team traveled personally to the Meyer Turku Shipyard in Finland to oversee logistics
coordination and regulatory alignment for the final delivery of retail goods supporting the
onboard duty-free retail operation aboard the upcoming vessel Legend of the Seas.
One of the most advanced cruise vessels ever constructed, Legend of the Seas represents a new
benchmark in scale and onboard experience — including a fully integrated retail and duty-free
shopping ecosystem operating at sea.
VSI-TEMIS was selected as part of the international logistics network supporƟng the retail
supply chain for this onboard operation, working in coordination with the global operator
responsible for duty-free retail stores across the vessel.
On-Site Mission in Finland
This week, our team was present at Meyer Turku Shipyard in Turku, Finland — one of the
world's most advanced shipbuilding facilities and the same yard responsible for some of the
largest cruise vessels ever built.

Our mission on-site was clear: to verify and oversee that all logistics procedures, customs
coordination, and final delivery requirements for the onboard retail operation were fully aligned
ahead of final installation.
This included ensuring readiness for the secure, time-sensitive movement of goods destined for
retail environments at sea.
"Final delivery to onboard retail environments is not only about transportation — it is about
precision, timing, and absolute control at every stage of the supply chain."

Beyond coordination, our team was physically present at Meyer Turku to ensure every
operational detail was executed according to plan. For projects of this scale, on-site presence is
essential to guarantee precision, compliance, and timing accuracy
A Project of Global Scale
Being part of this program reflects the trust placed in VSI-TEMIS by global partners operating
within highly complex retail logistics environments.
The vessel will debut in the Mediterranean in July 2026, before repositioning to North America
later in the year, where it will operate Caribbean itineraries. Our presence at Meyer Turku
represents a key milestone in the final phase of preparation for the onboard retail supply chain
— ensuring full readiness ahead of launch.
VSI-TEMIS continues to support large-scale international logistics projects where precision,
compliance, and execution at global scale are critical.
If your organization is managing complex supply chains involving shipyard delivery, retail
operations, or high-value international cargo coordination, our team is available to support
end-to-end execution.
